§ Mr. HayhoeNo. However my right hon. and noble Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lanchester is considering a recent judgment by the employment appeal tribunal in a case where the age limit for applicants from within the civil service was in question. As leave to appeal was given to both parties it would not be appropriate to comment further.
