§ Mr. David HowellFor 1982–83 South Yorkshire county council will receive £13.9 million of transport supplementary grant. This covers all their eligible transport expenditure including road construction and maintenance. Details of the difference between costs and fares since the passenger transport authority was set up are not readily available.
