§ 41. Mr. Foulkesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will now consider making an interim increase in the pension level, in view of the level of inflation.
§ Mr. RossiNo, Sir. We have already made clear our intention to uprate the retirement pension in November by the full amount necessary to compensate for the forecast increase in prices from November 1981 and the further amount needed to make good the shortfall in the November 1981 uprating.
