Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Energy whether he will seek to exend the provisions of the Coalmining (Subsidence) Act 1957 to require compensation to be paid to domestic householders for the upset and inconvenience they suffer when their homes are being repaired following subsidence due to coalmining.
