§ Mr. George YoungerThe Government are at present carrying out a wide-ranging review of the administration of and legislaion on salmon and freshwater fisheries in Scotland. This review is not yet complete. The Salmon Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Bill, which is not a Government measure, is concerned solely with amending the law in Scotland on the taking of salmon.
