§ Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether a person, receiving child benefit before 15 March 1982 and electing to receive payment weekly after that date, will be able to receive the benefit weekly also in respect of an additional child for whom entitlement does not arise until after 15 March, even though the family is not in receipt of supplementary benefit or family income supplement and is not a one-parent family.
