§ Mr. Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will set out the details of all personal income tax allowances for 1982–83 on the assumption of the indexation provisons of the Finance Act 1977 as amended by the Finance Act 1980, showing the estimated cost for each allowance and basing his answer on (a) the retail price index change in 1981 and (b) the retail price index change in 1980 and 1981.
