Mr. Canavan

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) what has been the value of United Kingdom imports from the European Economic Community for each year since 1965; and if he will also express these figures as a percentage of all British imports and as a percentage share of the British market;

(2) what was the value of United Kingdom exports to the European Economic Community for each year since 1965; and if he will also express these figures as a percentage of all British exports and as a percentage share of the European Economic Community market.
