§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Trade what is his policy towards the implementation of those provisions of the Estate Agents Act 1978 which are not covered by the Estate Agents Act 1979 Commencement (No. 1) Order 1981.
§ Mrs. Sally OppenheimI will consider the question of further implementation of the Act in the light of experience of the working of the provisions coming into force on 3 May. It is important that estate agents, enforcement authorities and others should gain familiarity with these provisions before any new requirements are imposed.
