§ Mr. Roy Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement about the proposed further feasibility study into the design and economics of a barrage across the Severn estuary taking into consideration the possible social and environmental impact of such a project.
§ Mr. MellorThe Government will be considering the recommendations of the Severn barrage committee, taking into account the comments being received from interested parties during the period of public consultation.
