§ Mr. Skinnerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what information he has as to the percentage of income spent on fuel in an average household containing a disabled person compared with the figure for the average household during 1979, 1980 and to the nearest available date in 1981.
§ Mr. RossiThe most recent information we have is a study prepared by the social policy research unit at York university. This showed that in 1978 people receiving a disability benefit spent on average 7.5 per cent. of their income on fuel costs which compared with an average 6.9 per cent. for all households.
