§ 38. Mr. Roy Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list those bodies that have objected to his proposed changes in industrial relations legislation; and if he will seek to have discussions with them about their objections.
§ Mr. WaddingtonMy right hon. Friend has received nealy 200 submissions on his proposals for legislation on industrial relations. While a number of detailed points were raised on particular aspects of the proposals, there was widespread support for the package as a whole. Only 18 bodies expressed outright opposition. We have already met the TUC about its objections and are willing to meet the other bodies.
