§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will arrange for two of the new type 22 frigates to be named HMS "Coventry" and HMS "Sheffield" so as to perpetuate famous ships' names and continue the historic links between the Royal Navy and the two cities.
§ Mr. WigginNames for ships to replace those lost in the Falklands campaign are currently under consideration. My hon. Friend's suggestions will be taken into account.
