§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary of State for Wales what substantial objections have been made to current plans for trunk road improvement in Powys.
§ Mr. Michael RobertsA total of 42 objections were received to the Welshpool relief roads proposals. The current draft orders containing these proposals are shortly to be withdrawn. New draft orders with revised proposals will be published shortly. While other proposed improvements have been the subject of objections none has been judged to be substantial enough for the need for the improvement to be brought into question, or its route.
