HC Deb 22 December 1982 vol 34 c605W
33. Mr. Cormack

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make representations to the Soviet Government about the case of Felix Kochubievsky.

Mr. Rifkind

The Government are aware of Mr. Kochubievsky's sad case. While it is obviously impossible to raise all individual cases with the Soviet authorities, they have been reminded on several occasions recently of the importance we attach to human rights and of the strong feelings in the United Kingdom on this subject.
