22. Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, pursuant to the answer of 6 December, Official Report, c. 370, an acknowledgement of the establishment of the total exclusion zone was received by Her Majesty's Government from the Argentine Government through the Swiss Government before 2 May.

The Swiss Government confirmed to us on 28 April that our communication declaring a total exclusion zone had been received by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 17.10, Argentine time, on the same day.
