§ Mrs. ChalkerPresent specification policy for the compaction of asphalt in truck road construction is to require compliance with the provisions of British Standard specification 594. This is currently being revised by BSI, and I cannot anticipate its new recommendations. Proper compaction is one of many essential requirements of the asphalt specification.
