§ Mr. MacGregorThe only relevant information available to the Department relates to the opening and closure of manufacturing units with more than 10 employees. This information is inevitably somewhat out of date because of delays associated with its collection; this applies particularly to our record of openings. However, our records at the moment show that since May 1979, five manufacturing units with more than 10 employees have opened premises in the Mexborough, Goldthorpe and Wombwell employment office areas, and 11 are known to have closed.
