§ Mr. Colin Shepherdasked the Prime Minister if she will set out the responsibilities of Ministers in relation to lands owned by the Crown Estate Commissioners, indicating in each case the Minister concerned.
§ The Prime MinisterUnder section 1(4) of the Crown Estate Act 1961, the Chancellor of the Exchequer (or the Secretary of State for Scotland in matters relating to Scotland) may, after consulting the Crown Estate Commissioners, give directions to the commissioners as to the discharge of their functions.
