§ Mr. WaldegraveThe college has approval for an in-service teacher training course related to teaching the mentally handicapped which, I understand, it has been unable to offer because it proved impossible to make a relevant staff appointment. The decision to discontinue initial teacher training may enable the college to run the in-service course in future; that however is a matter for the college and the local education authority.
