Member for Wokingham, as representing the Church Commissioners, if he will make a statement on the circumstances in which the Church Commissioners sold several of their London properties to a company known as Hillingdon Investments, registered in the Isle of Man.
§ Sir William van StraubenzeeThe Church Commissioners representatives have recently held discussions with Hillingdon Investments concerning the possible sale of a number of commercial properties. The commissioners have now been informed that Hillingdon does not wish to proceed with the transaction and no further negotiations are proposed.
