HL Deb 14 December 1982 vol 437 c591WA
Lord Melchett

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will confirm that a ski road in the Cairngorms connecting Coire Cas with Coire na Ciste that was built last year with public funds provided by the Highlands and Islands Development Board is now in a state of disrepair, and whether they will state the estimated cost to public funds of restoring the road.

The Earl of Mansfield

I understand from the Highlands and Islands Development Board that some damage occurred to the road surface during the winter of 1981–82 and that the necessary repairs were carried out in the spring of 1982 at a cost of £7,400.
