§ Mr. Colvinasked the Secretary of State for Defence when he expects his evaluation of the S90 warship designed by Thornycroft Giles to be completed; and if the design is planned as an alternative to the type 23 frigate.
§ Mr. PattieThornycroft Giles and Associates Ltd. has until the end of January 1983 to submit the results of further research in support of its claims for the S90 design as an alternative type 23 frigate design. It is expected to be possible to complete the evaluation of any such information within about one month of its receipt.
