§ Mr. RifkindOver the last six months, Thomas de la Rue (UK), Ferranti Electronics Ltd (UK), Dow Chemical Co. (USA) and Sea-Land (USA) have announced plans to invest in Hong Kong. In addition four foreign banks and six deposit-taking companies have successfully applied for licensed status.
