§ Mr. AlisonThe following table gives the numbers and percentage of employees in employment in the West Midlands in the industry groups specified at June 1979—figures for May are not available—and June 1982, the latest date for which provisional estimates are available. Figures are also given for the gas, electricity and water industries, which do not fall within the groups specified. A corresponding analysis of employees in employment in Birmingham is not available.
