§ Mr. Philip Hollandasked the Minister for Trade if he will list in the Official Report, in respect of the National Consumer Council, the number of staff currently employed, the cost of staff remuneration and the number of meetings held in the past 12 months.
§ Dr. VaughanThere are 51 posts in the approved staff complement of the council and its Scottish and Welsh subsidiaries; two of these are currently vacant. Staff remuneration cost £469,246 in 1981–82. Ten meetings of the full council have been held in the past 12 months, in addition to regular meetings of various council committees.
