§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for Transport how many service areas are proposed on the stretches of the M25 between the Dartford tunnel and the Al2 and between the Al2 and the M11, respectively.
§ Mrs. ChalkerMy Department is currently preparing a strategy for motorway service areas on the whole of the M25, on the basis of which we shall be able to decide where service area developments should be promoted. We aim to provide facilities to meet the needs of motorway users, whilst having full regard to environmental considerations.
