§ Mr. Marlowasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Dundee, West (Mr. Ross), Official Report, 7 July, column 129, if he is satisfied that Israel is still complying with the fourth Geneva convention.
§ Mr. HurdThe Government have acted in support of the International Red Cross in urging the Israeli Government to apply the principles of all the relevant Geneva Conventions to Palestinian prisoners. The International Red Cross has been allowed regular access to Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. A large number of prisoners have recently been released.
