§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeSome health authorities are examining the possibility of providing mobile body scanners as an alternative to permanent instruments and they will monitor their cost effectiveness. The Department is also carrying out a preliminary investment appraisal of a mobile body scanner in collaboration with the NHS and will publish the results of the study.
