§ Mr. Leadbitterasked the Prime Minister if she will make a further statement on national security relating particularly to the Government communications headquarters in respect of the actions of two individuals whose names have been supplied to her.
§ The Prime MinisterBoth the men whose names were supplied to me by the hon. Member were employees of GCHQ who have recently died. There is no reason to connect either of them with Prime; no reason to suspect that either of them was other than loyal and trustworthy in his work; no reason to suppose that either of them could have thought that he was under suspicion of disloyalty or espionage; and no reason to suppose that the Prime case, or fears of being suspected, had anything to do with either of their deaths.
