§ Mr. HeseltineI assume that the hon. Member is referring to the appeal made to me by Mr. Alcock, a retained fireman, against the decision of the Suffolk county council under the Local Government Superannuation Regulations. The county council asked for a case to be stated to the High Court on questions of law arising out of my provisional conclusion on the appeal. A draft statement of case for the High Court has just been sent by the Treasury Solicitor to the parties for comment.
