§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Industry if, pursuant to his policy of improving the efficiency of letter delivery by the Post Office, he will request it to give wider publicity to section 13 of the code of practice for postal services which enables the users of the postal services to reclaim their postal costs if their mail is delayed in delivery due to the fault of the postal authorities.
§ Mr. ButcherThat is a matter for the Post Office in consultation with the Post Office Users National Council. I understand, however, that it is intended that the revised code of practice for postal services due for publication in June of this year should receive wide publicity, and I welcome this.
