§ Mr. StanleyA limited transfer of assets has already taken place at Stevenage and the Commission for the New Towns has put forward proposals for a more extensive transfer at Welwyn and Hatfield. The Commission is engaged in detailed discussions with the local authorities concerned in other towns, including Bracknell. My right hon. Friend is considering the important principles involved in achieving transfer on terms that are equitable as between the Commission and the local authorities concerned.
