§ Mr. Skinnerasked the Prime Minister if she will issue a directive to all Government Departments that all British arms trading with Fascist style dictatorships throughout the world, will be ended; and if she will make a statement.
§ The Prime MinisterUnder already existing machinery, the Government consider carefully every application for a licence to export arms, to whatever destination. In doing so we take a variety of factors into account including the human rights record of the Government concerned. We also have powers to revoke licences once they have been issued, as has been done in the case of goods destined for Argentina.
