§ Sir Brandon Rhys Williamsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish tables similar to those in "Income tax and indirect tax: the main proposals", showing for single wage married couples with each of two and four children the effects of income tax, national insurance contribution and child benefit changes between 1981–82 and 1982–83 on net incomes, assuming a 7½ per cent. increase in earnings.
