§ Mr. GrayThere have been no specific proposals for the import of Norwegian gas into the United Kingdom for re-export to the Continent, but we have assured the Norwegians on a number of occasions that we would be willing in principle to consider projects of this kind on their merits. Such projects could involve linking the British and European grids.
