§ Mr. FowlerThe Government have made an additional £63 million available for nurses' pay this year. This has enabled the management side of the Nurses and Midwives Whitley council to make an offer representing a 6.4 per cent. increase on the pay bill. The Whitley council is meeting today to continue negotiations.
