§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithEstimates of the simple average of daily common levies for the main items as a percentage of intervention prices for the years 1977 to 1981 are as follows. These figures may not reflect the actual average levy paid on imports from third countries since the volume of imports varies throughout the year. Information for earlier years could not be provided except at disproportionate cost.
