Mr. Hooley asked the Prime Minister how many letters she received on the subject of the Mexico summit in the four months before the meeting took place, including those transmitted by hon. Members and those sent in direct by individual citizens.

The Prime Minister: In that period I received 217 letters from right hon. and hon. Members enclosing some 650 letters from constituents. A further 900 letters were sent to me direct by members of the public, together with two petitions containing 4,477 and 404 signatures respectively.
