§ Mr. Waldegrave:For graduates of United Kingdom universities in the academic year 1979–80, 27 per cent. of first degree, and 10 per cent. of higher degree graduates were known to have found permanent home employment in industry and commerce by 31 December 1980. These graduates made up 61 per cent. and 39 per cent. respectively of all who entered permanent home employment.
