asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will bring up to date the figures quoted by the MSC in its report entitled "Review of Service for the Unemployed" that each additional 100,000 registered unemployed cost about £300 million per annum at 1979–80 prices in transfer payments and revenues forgone.
