Mr. Cook

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what is the total amount of electricity in megawatt-hours generated to date by (a) Calder Hall and (b) Chapelcross power stations.

Mr. Mellor:

By the end of September 1981 Calder Hall and Chapelcross power stations had generated totals of 37,261 and 37,645 thousand megawatt hours respectively.

Mr. Cook

asked the Secretary of State for Energy what is the total amount of electricity generated in megawatt-hours to date by all the United Kingdom's Magnox stations, other than Calder Hall and Chapelcross.

Mr. Mellor:

The total was 415,777 thousand megawatt hours to the end of September 1981.
