§ Mr. Pawseyasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he is now in a position to make a statement about the National Coal Board's intentions in South Warwickshire, in the light of the substantial deposits of coal existing in this area; what is the scale of the deposits; and whether they can be exploited from existing coalfields.
§ Mr. John Moore:This is a matter for the National Coal Board which is, I understand, currently evaluating the results of exploration work in South Warwickshire.
