Whether consultations have been completed on the Interim Report of the Committee of Inquiry into the Education of Children from the Minority Groups (Cmnd. 8273) published in June 1981; what action is to be taken, and when, on the recommendations set out in the report.
§ Lord EltonInterested bodies have been asked by my right honourable friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science to comment by 18th December 1981 at the latest on the recommendations made in the Committee of Inquiry's first report. My right honourable friend will make his response to this report when these comments have been considered.
