§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he anticipates a circular being issued to local authorities and other interested parties concerning the implementation of the Disabled Persons Act 1981, which comes into force on 27 October; and what discussions he has held with organisations representing disabled people in drawing up this circular.
§ Mr. Rossi:Work is proceeding in the Departments concerned on the preparation of guidance. Consultations will be undertaken as necessary.
