§ Mr. Cryer asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on the proposal to 205W close the northern center of the National Radiological Protection Board, giving he number of jobs lost and the alternative means envisaged of carrying out the work.
§ Mr. Geoffrey Finsberg:This is primarily a matter for the National Radiological Protection Board. I understand that the board has decided against closure of the northern center for the present and will be considering longer term arrangements there and elsewhere for the organisation of the services it provides.
