§ Mr. Hicks asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the result of the application by the Caradon district council for grant aid for the Looe Plaidy coastal protection scheme; and if he will give the details of his decision.
§ Mr. Giles Shaw:My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has determined this application and a grant undertaking of £109,880, being 43 per cent. of the grant eligible cost of the Looe Plaidy scheme, is being sent to the Caradon district council.
