§ Mr. Peter Griffiths asked the Secretary of State for Defence where he intends to relocate the activities at present carried on at HMS "Pembroke"; and if he will take full account of the capacity of the naval base at Portsmouth in making any decision.
§ Mr. Wiggin:Following on from Cmnd.8288 part of the comprehensive review being carried out to determine the most appropriate and cost effective Royal Navy shore organisation will be concerned with the future location of work presently being done at HMS "Pembroke". That review takes full account of the facilities at Portsmouth naval base.
