§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will seek to amend section 22 of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 so that the Secretary of State is required to state whether he is satisfied with the research and development work carried out by each Minister of the Crown on which he is required to report to the House.
§ Mr. Rossi:No, but I am always willing to listen to constructive criticism of the current research programmes or concrete suggestions for extending them.
