Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will take steps, if necessary by introducing legislation, to give members of the public the right to know the fees and salaries paid to any public servant where public money is used to pay the fees, salaries and incomes of these public servants, on a basis similar to that whereby directors of public companies must disclose in their annual reports to their shareholders their annual fees and income from the companies of which they are directors.
